Starting with space planning in what was the suburban train station, the Reading Terminal Head House Marriott in Philadelphia, PA was transformed. Formerly the main waiting room, it now houses "one of the most beautiful ballrooms in the city," as praised by former Philadelphia Mayor Ed Rendell. Developed from completely gutted space, historic photographs and materials guided the design details. Custom-designed lighting, floor patterns, moldings, and carpets add grandeur to the ballroom, pre-function, and meeting spaces. This project reflects the elegance of train travel, ensuring guests experience style while journeying by rail.
